People who want to make money with their blog more often than not rely on one of the more well-known web affiliate programs aimed at bloggers. Some are suited to bloggers and article writers, but some only bloggers can use due to circumstances.
Google Adsense
This is the No. 1 and mostly recognized web affiliate program that most bloggers will know about and use. It’s user-friendly and has a large community base to help you should you have any problems and get stuck along the way. It is also a program you have to be patient with. On average a blogger's earnings will take quite a while to build up. Many bloggers earn a living from this program, but that of course depends on your blog traffic and your topics.

Yahoo Publisher Network
This is also a large network, but not as big as Google. It allows you to customize the appearance of your ad, altering the shape and color to make it stand out and to filter it against other competitors.

AdBrite
AdBrite Ads comes in the form of text and banner ads. Bloggers can also choose a full-page advertisement. AdBrite is competing with Google Adsense and some bloggers prefer using it to Adsense, saying it pays better, it draws in more traffic and it is more user-friendly.This is always debatable, but of course depends on the user.

Commission Junction
Up to now I have only focused on CPC publishers. Everyone knows Amazon and it is used widely by bloggers, article writers and hubbers. Commission Junction is also owned by Value Click. Commissions average between 3-15%, but some go as high as 50%. This program does extremely well.

Click Bank
Click Bank is a well known affiliate program, but I have to say I prefer using Amazon because although there a lot of products, there is not a tremendous variety. If you want an e-book for your blog this is the place to come. The commission you receive is definitely higher than most other programs and your get paid every two weeks.
